CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Chicago police said a woman was killed and a man is hospitalized after they were hit by a car Saturday afternoon not far from Wrigley Field on the North Side.
Police said someone driving a vehicle struck another vehicle on the 800 block of West Addison and later struck two pedestrians on the 3500 Block of North Fremont.
A 27-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man were crossing the street when struck. The woman was pronounced dead on the scene and the man was taken to a hospital in stable condition.
Police said the driver ran from the scene and are investigating.
