
CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Chicago police are investigating a hold-up that happened on the Gold Coast overnight.
Police said that around 2:20 a.m., a 33-year old man was robbed at gunpoint in the 900 block of North Michigan Avenue. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, the victim is a federal agent who works for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
A dark-colored SUV pulled up and two males hopped out with their guns and demanded the man’s belongings. They then drove away-westbound on Delaware, which is one-way east. Police said the victim was not hurt.
No one is in custody.
