CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Four CTA passengers were robbed in three separate hold-ups on EL trains overnight on the Pink and Red Lines.
Chicago police said the three robberies were all at gunpoint from about 1:50 to four o'clock in the morning.
Police said a woman on a Pink Line train had a gun put to her head as two men took her belongings near 19th and Kedzie. At that same station a few minutes later, two men, who had just gotten off the EL, had guns pointed at them and gave up their property. Some of it was later found nearby.
And, Chicago police said a 48-year old man who had fallen asleep on a Red Line train was abruptly awakened at Bryn Mawr by a man with a gun wanting to steal his stuff. No one was injured.
