CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — A holiday tradition at the Museum of Science and Industry will look a little different this year.
The Christmas Around the World and Holidays of Light exhibits opened Friday with changes designed to keep visitors safe during COVID.
The museum is even practicing social distancing with the trees.
The exhibit, which has been around for 78 years, will have fewer holiday trees on display (40 this year), and they'll be more spread out.

MSI Spokeswoman Isabel Morales said they're also limiting the number of visitors, requiring timed tickets and giving everyone a stylus to use for the hands-on exhibits.
For those who aren't comfortable visiting in person, the displays can be seen on the museum's website.
The exhibits run through Jan. 3.
