With the holiday shopping season in full swing and people ordering and receiving items every day, use caution to try to ensure fast-moving thieves don’t steal your packages.
While doorstep delivery is convenient, porch pirates prowl neighborhoods looking for unattended packages.
If you are at home, keep a close eye out for deliveries and be mindful of when packages should arrive. Try to get your packages inside as quickly as possible and never let them sit overnight.
If you won’t be at home, have your packages delivered to work or use a safe local store that offers delivery and pick up.
Having friends or neighbors secure your packages will keep them from being targets.
