Preckwinkle hasn't experienced any symptoms and will isolate until her results return. This staff member was last in the Cook County building on Friday.
Preckwinkle's announcement comes a day after Gov. J.B. Pritzker ended a brief self-isolation period after possibly being exposed to COVID-19 last Monday. The governor and his staffers tested negative for the virus, his office announced Saturday.
