CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Three Loop workers were injured Thursday night during an attempted theft at the store where they work.
Chicago police said that shortly after 5 p.m. Thursday a man tried to steal merchandise from a store on State Street near Madison when employees confronted him. The thief pulled out some kind of sharp object and police said he cut two of the employees. He then sprayed a chemical irritant at a third worker and left the store.
Police are still looking for him. None of the workers wanted to be treated by Fire Department paramedics.
