
CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Chicago Police sent out a community alert Tuesday morning about child luring incident in Rogers Park Monday night.
Police said a female child was in Pottawattomie Park on Rogers Avenue- west of Clark Street around 6:30 p.m., when an unknown man approached her.
According to police, the man invited the girl to his house in exchange for money. A nearby citizen intervened and assisted the girl to the park's fieldhouse and called 911.
Police are looking for the man, who was described as having a thick accent and missing his upper front teeth.
