CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — A man has died after he was shot while on his bike in Woodlawn Saturday night, Chicago police said.
Authorities said the man was shot in the neck while biking on the sidewalk just south of Washington Park, near 61st Street and Champlain Avenue.
It happened around 9:50 p.m., and police did not share if the gunshots came from a person in a car or on foot.
Paramedics took the man to the hospital, where he died from his wound.
Police released no details regarding the man's name or his age. No one is in custody.
