A 24- year old Justice, Illinois man has plead guilty and been sentenced to four years in prison for stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars of retail goods. The sentencing took place Tuesday.
In 2021, during a search of Madhi Alhaw's vehicle, Attorney General Kwame Raoul says in a news release that Chicago Police recovered items that led Raoul's Organized Retail Crime Task Force to several storage units where they found stolen clothing, cosmetics, electronics, mattresses, pet supplies and other retail merchandise valued at more than 500-thousand dollars.
