
KENOSHA, WIS. (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Police officers shot and killed someone Monday following a pursuit that ended in Kenosha County.
The pursuit started in Racine County at about 3:30 pm and went into Kenosha County.
It’s unclear why police were after the person.
The Kenosha County deputies and state police were also involved. The chase ended with a crash in a field near the Great Lakes Dragaway.
The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office said the suspect ran off and was eventually found nearby.
It was about two hours later.
The Sheriff’s Office said the person pointed a gun at multiple officers and refused commands to drop the weapon and was shot.
First aid was performed at the scene and the person later died.
