Man shot in his Englewood home: Police

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Chicago Police Detectives are investigating the shooting of a man in his home Tuesday night in the Englewood neighborhood.

The bullet went through a window. The incident happened at about 8:20 p.m. near 60th and Morgan.

Police said “A 20-year-old male was in a rear bedroom of a residence when a shot came through a window, striking him.”

He was shot in the back and was initially in fair condition at the University of Chicago Medical Center.

“There is no one in custody and the circumstances surrounding the incident are being investigated by Area One detectives," police added.
