IMAGES: Man wanted for allegedly stabbing, robbing passenger on CTA Orange Line train

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Detectives have released images from security cameras of a man alleged to have stabbed and robbed a passenger on a CTA Orange Line train on Wednesday.

Police said in the overnight hours on Wednesday the suspect approached a 40-year-old male passenger on a westbound train near the Western Station, took out a knife and then demanded his belongings. The suspect subsequently stabbed him several times in the neck and chest. The passenger complied and gave the suspect his wallet and cellphone. The suspect fled the scene.

Images pulled from CTA security cameras show the suspect to be 20 to 30-years-old and having hand tattoos. It appeared the suspect changed his clothes after the crime.
