Man critically wounded in shooting, robbery at Bucktown liquor store

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Police are investigating a shooting and robbery in Bucktown Thursday night.

It happened in the 1900 block of North Milwaukee Avenue at a liquor store in a busy intersection. Chicago police said  it was around 10:30 p.m. when three suspects entered the store and confronted a 26-year old man inside, pointing a gun at him.

One of the suspects fired a shot and struck the man in the stomach. He was taken to Stroger Hospital and at last report was listed in critical condition.

Five others inside the store were robbed. No one else was hurt. No one is in custody.

Police are now scanning security camera video.
