CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) – Justin Russell, 33, and his wife, 27-year-old Lauren Russell, have been accused of sharing and uploading multiple images and videos of child pornography.
The Will County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant last month at the Joliet home on West Kipling Court after receiving a cyber-tip from the Illinois Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
Electronic devices and other evidence were taken for forensic examination.
Upon receiving several of the forensic analysis results and processing evidence, an arrest warrant was issued and the couple was taken into custody Tuesday morning.
Both husband and wife face three counts of child pornography.
Their bond was set at $5 million each.
