PORTAGE, Ind. (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- An employee of a McDonalds in Portage, Indiana is facing criminal charges after allegedly attacking a Door Dash driver.
Sharise Parrish, 18, of Gary, the employee believes it started when the driver got upset over a late order. Words were exchanged and Parrish said the 40- year- old female driver hit or slapped her first.
The driver was leaving the restaurant when a security camera caught what happened next. She got to the vestibule and police say Parrish was seen running after her and punching her in the face at least twice.
The driver had visible injuries to her face, including a black eye and a cut under an eye and a scrape on her nose. The times of Northwest Indiana reports Parrish is charged with one count of battery resulting in bodily injury.
