CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Equipment valued at over $100,000 was stolen from Soldier Field, according to management.

The Waldron Parking deck was vandalized as well and several pieces of equipment such as riding mowers and side-by-side tractors were stolen, Luca Serra with Soldier Field management company ASMG said.

There are no cameras are on the part of the deck where the break-in happened. A fence was also damaged.

The equipment did not belong to the Bears or Soldier Field, but to subcontractors working with police to determine what to do.

The theft happened at 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, police said. Police do not know how many suspects are responsible for the theft. They fled the scene and no one is in custody at this time.

It has been a particularly rough week for the Bears as quarterback Justin Fields clashed with coaching staff, Defensive Coordinator Alan Williams resigned, and the start of the season has not been good overall.
