(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- The FBI is looking for more victims of a fraud scheme that snared a business outside of Rockford and potentially hundreds of people. The scheme involves four out-of-state companies and unpaid millions.

A grand jury indictment said Mark Carroll, 47 and Luke Curry, 36 both of Kentucky took one million dollars under the false promise they would give their two victims a line of credit if they put down 20 percent.

Federal prosecutors accuse the pair of not delivering on that nor returns pledged to investors. The companies involved are Catapult Marketing, Catapult Funding, FX International Traders and Freedom Consulting.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office said a Boone County business fell victim to the fraud scheme and some 200 people may have as well-often elderly people who heard about the opportunity from friends or family. Carroll and Curry are slated for arraignment in Rockford Wednesday.
