(WBBM NEWSRADIO) – A 69-year-old woman was killed early Wednesday when she was struck by a vehicle that left he scene, Aurora police said.
First responders around 2 a.m. found a woman lying on the road along Galena Boulevard near Barnes Road. She was pronounced dead at the scene, Aurora police said.
Investigators determined the woman was walking “in the roadway” when she was struck by a vehicle that continued on.
The pedestrian has been identified as Annie KPA of Aurora.
