BOLINGBROOK, Ill. (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Bolingbrook police are asking residents to shelter in place at this time as they are currently on scene on the scene of a person shot in the area of Lexington Drive and Lee Lane.
The victim is a 17-year-old female, who has been transported to an area hospital. The suspects fled on foot and are currently at large. They are described as a 14-16 year old black male, wearing a red hoodie and black pants and a 16- year -old black male, wearing a brown hoodie and black pants.
Early indications are the shooting is the result of a prearranged narcotics deal and is not random, police said. Officers are conducting a thorough search and are advising people to stay away from the area.
