(WBBM NEWSRADIO) – A program that uses artificial intelligence to write paragraphs is helping one real-estate agent save hours a week in extra work.

Realtor J.J. Johannes of EXP Realty in Cedar Rapids, Iowa is using Chat GPT to help write property listings. The application draws on all of the information on the internet to write an answer to whatever question you ask it.

Johannes said the platform helps generate verbiage and descriptions, which he then edits.

“Another way that I use it is on social media posts,” Johannes said.

He told the WBBM Noon Business Hour that the AI can also be trained to come up with the right keywords so a real-estate listing can show up on search engines and social media.
