An award show celebrating love, peace and soul returns to its roots next month.
Chicago and BET are bringing the “Soul Train Awards” back to the city where it all began.
Hosted by Anthony Anderson, the ceremony will be taped at the Harris Theater and airs Friday, Nov. 27 at 7 p.m. CT on BET, marking its debut on CBS.
Chicago superstar Chaka Khan will receive the Classic Soul honor.
The great Don Cornelius launched "Soul Train" in Chicago, before it blew up nationally.
The legendary show introduced America to generations of artists, dancers and icons.
