CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Five people, including a 15-year-old boy, were hospitalized — and one person was arrested — after a crash early Sunday morning in Chicago's Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood.
Chicago police said a U-Haul hit a black SUV near 71st Street and Wentworth Avenue at about 12:30 a.m.
The collision knocked the U-Haul on its side, and it sent five people from the SUV to the hospital.
Police said their injuries ranged from fair to critical. The 15-year-old was in serious condition, initially.
Someone from the U-Haul was arrested by Illinois State Police, but no other details were released about the individual.
