A west suburban business that sells house plants and other items has bloomed in recent months.
Ashley Aikens and Lindsay Palm started Good Roots in Glen Ellyn as a way to share their love of plants with others.
“We wanted it to just be a different vibe and a refreshing place for people to have a different experience buying plants," Palm tells WBBM Newsradio’s Jennifer Keiper.
The entrepreneurs also sell rugs and pillow covers. Their clientele includes moms, families and singles, anyone who has "been trapped in their homes who just want to make their homes more beautiful,” Aikens says.
The two are already looking to expand to a retail space in downtown Glen Ellyn.
