
CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A 14-year-old boy is hospitalized in serious condition after being shot Monday night in West Englewood.
The teen was standing at the back door of a home near 66th and Marshfield when three people wearing masks walked up and at least one began shooting, according to Chicago police.
Around 9 p.m., the boy was hit in the chest and taken to Comer Children’s Hospital. Police said the shooter and others ran off. No one is in custody at this time.
