16-year-old teen charged in February shooting that killed woman, wounded 3 others

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Charges have been filed against a juvenile for a shooting in February in Rogers Park that left a young woman dead and three other people wounded.

The 16-year-old boy, police are not identifying him  because of his age, is charged with one count of first-degree murder and three counts of attempted first-degree murder.

It was a warm Sunday afternoon in Pottawattomie Park when the boy allegedly fired shots into a group of people, killing a 19-year-old woman, wounding another 19-year-old woman and two men, 20 and 22.

He was arrested on Tuesday by members of the Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force and CPD officers on the 5900 block of N. Glenwood Ave.
