CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Chicago police continue to look for a man accused of the attempted rape of a teen on her way to school in Little Village.
A community alert stated the suspect lured the victim into an alley near 23rd Street and South Homan Avenue on Friday at 8:15 a.m. by asking for her help in throwing out some trash.
Police said when the 18-year-old had her back turned, the man attempted to remove her clothes before she fought him off.
The victim told police the man drove off in white work van with no windows on the side and missing some paint. The man was wearing a white t-shirt, black pants, a black hat and black crocs, according to the alert.
