CICERO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Police in Cicero are investigating a shooting Sunday night that left one person wounded after officers tried to send a large group of teens home.
About 250 teens were gathered at the AMC movie theater near 22nd and Cicero at 5:15 p.m., according to a Cicero spokesman.
The theater had discounted tickets as part of National Cinema Day. As police tried to break up the crowd, it moved to an Aldi across from the strip mall, where someone fired shots.
There are not many details about what happened, but a teen boy was wounded in the leg.
It's not clear what his condition is and no one is in custody.
