(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Authorities in Chicago are revealing new information about the toddler who was found walking alone on the far South Side last month.
Chicago police say they've identified the small child’s parents but did not confirm whether or not they would face any charges.
The toddler was seen walking alone in Roseland early in the morning of Dec. 20 without any shoes or pants.
The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services says the agency is still caring for the child and that he's doing well. Officials have said the boy is between 2 and 3 years old.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
