(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Officials are offering a $25,000 reward they hope will lead to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons who tried to rob a U.S. postal worker last month.
The attempted armed robbery of a letter carrier occurred the evening of June 4 in the 1300 block of West 109th of the Morgan Park community.
Violent crime against any postal employee is a federal crime. Tips will remain confidential and can be made through the agency hotline. The number 877-876-2455.
