CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A woman was shot Monday morning on the Eisenhower Expressway on the West Side.
According to Illinois State Police, the shooting happened at 3:52 a.m. in the westbound lanes of I-290 near Homan Avenue.
The woman was driven to a hospital with injuries that weren't thought to be life-threatening, the Sun-Times reported.
All westbound lanes were closed while authorities investigated, but were reopened by 7:48 a.m., state police said.
