(WBBM NEWSRADIO) – It's a simple question with many answers: "Where is the Midwest?"
A survey from Emerson College Polling and the Middle West Review asked 11,000 people from 22 states if they think their state is in the Midwest. In some cases, the answers are surprising: Some people in Colorado, Kentucky, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania and even Idaho say they live in the Midwest.
Nearly 94% of Illinoisans who were surveyed say they live in the Midwest.
Based on an informal survey in Millennium Park on Friday, perhaps the question is less cut-and-dried than it first appears.
