CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Detectives are asking for the public's assistance in hopes of finding the driver who struck and killed a 68-year-old woman Thursday in Brighton Park.

Chicago police said the incident occurred at around 4:50 p.m., at the intersection of 43rd and Pulaski.


The woman, while walking in the crosswalk, was hit by a white pickup truck.

The truck failed to stop and continued north on Pulaski, police said.

Taken from nearby video surveillance, detectives are sharing images of the vehicle believed to be involved.

Police note that the truck is possibly a Ford F150 or Ram 1500.
