WOODSTOCK — A man was airlifted to a hospital after falling from a forklift and suffering a traumatic head injury in Woodstock, fire officials said.
The Woodstock Fire and Rescue District said crews were called to Alvarez Tires and Auto Repair on Washington Street. Officials said the man was not pinned or trapped beneath the forklift, but his injuries were severe.
The man was flown to the Level I trauma center at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.
Fire officials said while crews responded to the business, the incident did not involve anyone employed by Alvarez Tires and Auto Repair.
