A 13-year-old boy who was fatally shot in an Englewood home Monday night in Englewood has been identified.
Tawon Tribble was inside a residence in the 500 block of West 65th Place at 6:54 p.m. when a gun went off and he was shot in the chest, police and the Cook County medical examiner's office said.
An autopsy is scheduled for Tribble, who was pronounced dead at Comer Children's Hospital, according to the medical examiner's office.
A person of interest was taken in for questioning but no charges have been announced.
