Are boomers more cringey than millennials? Is Gen Z more “woke” than Gen X? Is there any hope of bridging our generational divides?

Audacy’s new podcast “It’s Generational” brings together actual people from these four generations for real conversations about today’s issues.

To kick off this project, we’re bringing together a panel of guests to tackle three questions:

1.       How can the word “trauma” show how language is changing?

2.       What can polyamory teach us about breaking bad relationships cycles?

3.       Why do different generations have such different perspectives about work?

This panel includes John Evans, a baby boomer and longtime journalist who recently retired from KCBS Radio in San Francisco; Gen Xer Virginia Heffernan, who is a journalist, critic, author and podcast host; Kendra Austin, a millennial influencer, writer and model and Michelle Chubb, a Gen Z influencer, model and activist.

We’ll also include insight from experts every episode.

For our debut episode about shifting language, Brigitta Busch, a researcher and lecturer at the University of Vienna’s department of linguistics, helped guide us through the history of the word trauma.

Stay tuned for more insight from this panel as well as Dr. Raquel Peel, psychology lecturer at the University of Southern Queensland and Joyce Trimuel, an executive consultant for The Kaleidoscope Group.
