A Houston man is dead after he fell down while dancing on top of an 18-wheeler that was speeding down the highway.

The unidentified 25-year-old met his fate while reportedly recording his fancy footwork on top of the commercial vehicle on November 10, according to the Houston Police Department.

Apparently, the man was so focused on capturing the video, he didn't notice a bridge that was coming up.

"As the 18-wheeler passed underneath the Tuam Street bridge, the male was struck and knocked off the trailer onto the freeway main lanes," police said in a statement.

The man was rushed to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead, police said.

A video posted to Facebook shows the man dancing on the truck before the fatal collision. An one point, the man ducks under an overpass before standing up and continuing to dance. The video has been viewed more than 214,000 times.

The driver of the 18-wheeler was questioned and released. According to police, he was unaware someone had gotten on top of his truck, and had no clue who the man was.

The investigation is continuing.
