(WWJ) -- A city in Michigan is being labeled the most educated in the country.
With more than 97% of educators reporting learning loss among their students due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Wallethub has released a list of 2021’s Most & Least Educated Cities in America.
And topping the list is Michigan’s own — Ann Arbor!
Analysts found that the Ann Arbor metro area has the highest share of bachelor’s degree holders ages 25 and older, at over 55%.
Number two on the list was San Jose, California, followed by Washington D.C., San Francisco, and Madison, Wisconsin.
The least educated city on the list was Visalia, California, with only 14% of residents earning a bachelor’s degree.
Other Michigan cities that made the list included the Lansing-East Lansing area, which ranked 29th, the Grand Rapids-Kentwood area, which ranked 70th, and the Detroit/Warren/Dearborn area, which came in 78th.
