If you need an example of instant karma, here's one out of Florida.
A motorcyclist who was fleeing from police was T-boned by another vehicle just moments after flipping the bird to officers he was trying to outrun.
The incident happened Friday in Daytona Beach, on the first day of Bike Week in the city.
According to police, a deputy tried to pull over a group of motorcyclists who were "popping wheelies" but the suspects sped off, leading officers on a high-speed chase.
The Volusia County Sheriff's Office posted the three-minute chase video to social media, writing "Here's a good way to get yourself killed."
Dashcam footage shows the motorcyclists driving recklessly, weaving between cars and passing vehicles across solid double lines.
One of the riders, later identified as Joshua Richardson, looked back at one point and flipped police the bird before he ran through a red light and traveled directly into the path of an oncoming truck.
Richardson survived the crash and ran from the scene as the rest of the motorcyclists continued to flee. He was quickly apprehended in a nearby park and arrested on the ground as he waited for paramedics.
"You idiot!" one deputy exclaims as Richardson is placed in handcuffs.
"I know," Richardson replied.
"Yeah, you know," the deputy responded.
As Richardson explains that his leg is hurt, deputies -- who called for emergency medical services -- noted that he "ran pretty good."
"But I'm in pain right now," Richardson said as deputies gave each other a fist bump.
"Well, don't run from the sheriff's office. Then you won't crash your bike," the deputy responded.
Richardson tried explaining that he panicked, saying he was with a group of people and "they all kept going."
"What am I supposed to do," he said. "We're being chased by 12 cops in the middle of the night. What am I supposed to do?"
"Stop and figure out why we're chasing you," a deputy responds.
Richardson, who is expected to recover, is now facing charges of fleeing or attempting to elude law enforcement, resisting without violence and leaving the scene of a crash. He's also receiving traffic citations for failure to stop at a red light and passing in a no passing zone, police said.
