NORTHBROOK (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Masked thieves made off with several purses from Neiman Marcus at Northbrook Court Wednesday in the north suburb.
About 10 people entered the high-end store about 5:40 p.m. and grabbed the merchandise before fleeing on Lake Cook Road in two dark-colored SUVs, Northbrook police said.
The suspects were in the store “for less than a minute,” police said. One of them punched a security guard during the theft, but no other injuries were reported.
The suspects were described as males 16 to 20 years old wearing hoodies, police said.
