ComEd’s commitment to supporting the communities we serve includes helping our schools reduce carbon emissions, manage energy use and save money that can be freed up for other school priorities.
As part of that commitment, ComEd offers a variety of opportunities
to help schools achieve their decarbonization goals.
This all starts with a Public Schools Carbon-Free Assessment to
help school administrators increase the energy efficiency of their buildings and equipment, reduce carbon emissions associated with their energy usage, create a healthier building environment for students, staff and the surrounding community, and support schools in planning and achieving their goals of being carbon-free in their energy use.
From there, ComEd offers technical assistance to help schools
implement their chosen decarbonization projects… from planning to
completion.
ComEd also offers a variety of rebates for the purchase and
installation of electric vehicle chargers, as well as the purchase of
fleet passenger vehicles, maintenance vehicles and buses.
And these are just some of the ways ComEd is helping schools
support a cleaner, brighter future.
