LAKE FOREST, Ill. (104.3 The Score) — Bears right tackle Darnell Wright landed on the team’s injury report Wednesday.
Wright is dealing with a knee issue and didn't practice Wednesday. The full extent of his status wasn't immediately clear. The 25-year-old Wright has missed just two games in his first three NFL seasons.
Bears running back D'Andre Swift (ankle/knee), running back Kyle Monangai (hamstring), defensive end Dayo Odeyingbo (shoulder), nickelback Malik Muhammad (ankle), safety Xavier Woods (groin) and offensive tackle Ozzy Trapilo (knee) were limited in their work. Left guard Joe Thuney and defensive tackle Grady Jarrett had veteran rest days.
The Vikings listed quarterback Kyler Murray (concussion) as a limited participant Wednesday. He remains in the concussion protocol. Backup Carson Wentz would start in Murray’s place if he’s unable to play.
The Bears (1-0) and Vikings (1-0) kick off Sunday at noon CT from Soldier Field.
