CHICAGO (670 The Score) -- Bears running back/returner Cordarrelle Patterson tied the NFL record for kickoff return touchdowns when he took the opening kick of the second half for a 104-yard score against the Vikings on Monday night.
Patterson's touchdown marked the eighth of his career off a kickoff return, tying him with Josh Cribbs and Leon Washington for the record.
The Bears took a 13-7 lead on the return touchdown by Patterson, giving Chicago just its second score in a third quarter this season.
