(670 The Score) Bears linebacker D'Marco Jackson on Wednesday was named the NFC Defensive Player of the Week following his standout performance in Chicago's 31-3 win against Cleveland on Sunday.
Jackson recorded seven tackles, a sack and an interception in the victory. It came in just his fourth NFL start. The four-year veteran Jackson has primarily played on special teams during his NFL career.
Jackson is the fifth Bears player to earn a weekly or monthly honor this season.
The Bears (10-4) will host the Packers (9-4-1) on Saturday at Soldier Field, with kickoff set for 7:20 p.m.
