Bears WR Velus Jones Jr. active against Vikings

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (670 The Score) Bears second-year receiver Velus Jones Jr. is active against the Vikings on Monday night.

Jones was a healthy scratch from the Bears' game day lineup in each of the last two weeks. A third-round pick of Chicago in 2022, Jones has struggled to secure a role with the team.

Jones has three receptions for nine yards and four rushes for 22 yards this season.

The Bears' inactives are running back D'Onta Foreman (ankle/shin), cornerback Tyrique Stevenson (ankle), offensive tackle Larry Borom (illness), linebacker Noah Sewell (knee), quarterback Nathan Peterman, safety Quindell Johnson and pass rusher Dominique Robinson.

The Vikings didn't activate star wide receiver Justin Jefferson from injured reserve prior to Monday night. He has been sidelined by a hamstring injury and is nearing his return.

The Bears (3-8) and Vikings (6-5) kick off at 7:15 p.m. CT from U.S. Bank Stadium.
