Johnson, 36, had four assists in 58 games for Chicago this season. He was a member of the Avalanche’s championship-winning team last season.

Englund, 27, had three assists and a team-leading 104 hits in 36 games for Colorado this season. He has six assists in 69 career games in the NHL.

The NHL trade deadline looms Friday.
