(670 The Score) The Cubs have reinstated outfielder Joc Pederson from the injured list, they announced Monday.
Pederson had been sidelined from game action since April 20 due to a wrist injury. He'll play left field and lead off when the Cubs host the Dodgers, his old team, at Wrigley Field on Monday evening (weather permitting).
Pederson is off to a rough start, hitting .137 with one homer, four RBIs and a .498 OPS in 16 games.
In a corresponding move, Chicago optioned right-hander Keegan Thompson, who has thrown one scoreless inning for them.
