Rochester Museum & Science Center's newest exhibit is set for lift off! Experience Astronaut: Your Journey Begins On Earth... October 17, 2025 - May 2, 2026.

Learn what it takes to make it in space with full-body, immersive, and interactive displays. You’ll learn the reality of a space explorer’s experience– how your height or eyesight might change in space, what blast off feels like, and even how astronauts eat, sleep, and use the toilet in space!

Tickets are on sale now at RMSC.org

Event Highlights:
-Explore their newest exhibit and learn how to use a telescope with ASRAS volunteers!

-Engage in hands-on activities:

*Galaxy slime: Get hands-on to create your own stellar slime, and take it home with you!
*Rocket Launch: Blast off with our mini rockets! Watch an explosive demo to learn how rockets blast into space.
*Mars Challenge: Design, build, and test your own wind turbine as we power a settlement on Mars in the Inventor Center Challenge.
*Science on a Sphere: Take a tour of the planets as we learn about the solar system in our Science on a Sphere theater.
