Hope is a lifelong resident of the Rochester and Finger Lakes Area. While she grew up in Henrietta, she spent her Sundays growing up on her grandparents dairy farm in Hemlock, NY. If you went to Read’s Ice Cream from the years 2012 - 2014, there’s a good chance Hope served you ice cream with her thick Rochester accent (“would you like a baehg? Do you need any naeh-pkins?”)
Known for being the biggest cheerleader for her hometown, Her senior superlative for Rush-Henrietta was “most school spirit” also known as “comet crazy” which foreshadowed how her love of Rochester would play a role in her life. When she was graduating high school she was asked “what do you want to be when you grow up?” and to be a smart aleck said “I want to perform on cruise ships”. She ended up at Monroe Community College in the tourism program. As a part of her graduation requirements she worked 80 hours at the Rochester Lilac Festival and was so inspired helping visitors with what they should do in Rochester. Just a few months later in July of 2017 she started her account @ROCthecitywithHope to “Help locals become tourists and create Rochester, NY enthusiasts”. Her account blew up on TikTok (reaching 8 Million views and counting) and has since been named a finalist for “ROC’s Best Ambassador” in 2021 and a finalist for “Best Social Media Account” in 2023 by City Magazine. Now she has taken her love for content creation from TikTok to the Bee! On her socials you’ll see her favorite spots around Rochester and the Finger Lakes but on air is where you’ll hear the juicy details about her life behind the scenes. From her dating life to whatever trouble her friends get her into, you’ll hear it all on the Bee Morning Coffee Club!
