UPDATE: Buffalo Police announced the arrest of 25-year-old Matthew Hayes of Buffalo, who was charged with assault. The 23-year-old who was shot is in stable condition at ECMC.
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WBEN) - A man was shot in the Fillmore District in the City of Buffalo during the overnight hours.
Buffalo Police said the shooting happened in the 200 block of Ashley Street just before 12:30 a.m. A 23-year-old man was shot but is expected to survive. He was taken to ECMC.
